Heat Treating

Northland Forge Ltd. completes all of its Heat Treating in house.

• We operate 2 Box Type, Natural Gas Fired, Heat Treating Furnaces. Both have a load capacity of 4000 lbs.
• Our water quench tank has a 5000 gallon capacity and is connected to an additional 3500 gallon holding tank with cooling tower.
• We have excellent agitation in our Quench Tank provided by impellors within the tank and also a pumping system with water jets.
• We survey our heat treating furnaces annually and calibrate our controllers and chart recorders every 3 months as per API 6A.
• We heat treat big pieces.
